Most of us remember childhood ‘big bad wolf’ stories like Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Pigs. For centuries, mothers have taught lessons in honesty, using The Boy Who Cried Wolf fable. Add werewolves and other wolf-like shape-shifters to the mix, and it’s no wonder the mighty wolf is one of the most misunderstood creatures in the animal kingdom.

For decades, Loree has had a love affair with the majestic wolf, as evidenced by her extensive collection of plaques, statues, carvings, and paintings. “I admire their fierce loyalty, keen intelligence, adaptability, and strength,” she says. “They’re independent in a ‘social yet playful’ way, and they’re excellent parents. I can’t help but respect them.”

That’s why a portion of the proceeds from Loree’s books, classes, seminars, workshops, and speaking engagements are earmarked for The Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania, a Non-Profit Corporation established in 1980 to protect and preserve these magnificent animals.

| | While some of the 40-plus “Wolves of Speedwell Forge” were born at The Sanctuary, most were
rescued from abuse, neglect, and inhumane living conditions from all over the US. The Sanctuary is where they’ll spend the rest of their lives… with as much freedom and dignity as possible.
There, the wolves live in packs, just as they would if allowed to roam free. But because they can’t hunt as in the wild, The Sanctuary must provide for them, and relies entirely on donations (fencing, lumber, vet services, dog chow/treats, and of course, dollars).
Loree will donate all proceeds from two upcoming releases (Midnight Frolic, and Love’s Sweet Attack) to the Sanctuary. Both titles will be available soon, so buy a copy for yourself, and extras to give as gifts, and you’ll be helping feed and care for the wolves of Speedwell Forge! (Visit By Grace Publishing for ordering details.)
